The Summer Camp 2010 Experience
Adventure Camps is based in Mid Wales on the west coast.
The summer camp is set in Ynasmaengwyn campsite just outside the village of Tywyn and about 8 miles from Aberdyfi. This is a well established campsite, set in the grounds of an old manor house, near woodlands and the winding Dysynini river.
The course is a five day's long and is for individual youngsters or friends. You'll be staying near the sea, in the beautiful countryside of Mid Wales in Snowdoina National Park.
Share our brand new, spacious moderen tents, which are well equipped with airbeds and individual rooms. Cooking is communially done under our large army shelters.
Come away and meet new friends and explore Wales. If you want a bit more independence over the summer holidays! You will meet like minded people, who are up for a challenge and adventure. You will have fun learning new skills along the way.
We offer range of exciting activities to make your summer an adventurous one. Canyoning, climbing, abseiling, mountain biking, body boarding.......
Our summer camps are orginal; we don't abseil and climb off wooden structures! We climb on natural rocks and canoe on rivers ...no muddy small canoeing pools will do for us.
This years summer camp dates:
15th - 20th August
The cost is £299 pp.
There will be a pick up point at Birmingham New Street Train Station at 4pm on the Sunday of the course, for those who may not want to travel to Wales on their own (depending on demand). It is easy to get to this station from Gatwick, Luton, Manchester, Birmingham airports and all major cities.
